New safety platforms for LEFORT shears: safer access for everyday maintenance

At LEFORT, performance and safety go hand in hand. Our new safety platforms, available as an option, are designed to provide safer access to key areas of our shears, helping maintenance teams carry out essential tasks in better working conditions.

Regular maintenance is essential to keeping a machine operating at its best. From blade changes and bolt tightening to routine inspections and access to the various tanks, these operations require practical access and a stable working position.

Our new platforms are designed with these everyday requirements in mind. They provide dedicated access to maintenance areas, helping technicians work more comfortably and confidently while reducing the risks associated with working at height.

A dedicated platform with a ladder also provides access to the compression box, facilitating inspection and maintenance in this area of the machine.

Reducing the risk of falls is central to this development. By providing designated access routes and protected working areas, these platforms help minimise exposure to falls during maintenance operations.

This development reflects LEFORT’s continued commitment to improving the day-to-day experience of the people who operate and maintain our equipment. Alongside power, reliability and productivity, safe and practical maintenance access remains a key consideration in the evolution of our machines.

Because performance matters. But safety comes first. Always.
